Label Me Radio also broadcast unsigned independent artist.

Playgroundz.net was founded in 2005, in wich it began to host audio and video for musicians online with the first version of The Playgroundz.net website. By the beginning of 2006, we deployed our Live Video Webcasting Service to a local venue in Levitown, Ny called The Vintage Lounge. Our streaming live webcast of The Vintage Lounge friday night events were available on The Playgroundz.net website for anybody in the world to see right from their own home. Bands performances were now on a global scale. With it being a big successs with the artists and venues, we began to also stream live open mic nights from The Vintage Lounge. With a buzz being circulated and a growing number of users and artists memberships to the site, we began to promote our own shows. After a few successfull shows and experience in event planning, Playgroundz.net put together The Long Island Rocks for Freedom Concert with Nassau County Parks, Recreation, and Museumsin the summer of 2007.
The Long Island Rocks for Freedom Concert was an event to support our troops overseas. This event was also streamed live via The Playgroundz.net website. The event was held at The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre, Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY, where there were sponsorships from top companies such as Best Buy. The USO was also on hand collecting donations for our troops, and radio personality Fingers of 102.3 WBAB was the host for this event. After solid performances from all the bands, this night became a huge success.
In the summer of 2008, Playgroundz.net would do it all over again, this time with a different lineup of bands. The Long Island Rocks for Freedom Concert of 2008 was another milestone.
In 2009, Playgroundz.net founded Label Me Radio, its flagship mainstream radio station. With increasing traffic to the station and feedback from listeners, Label Me Radio continues the live streaming experience at The Playgroundz studio.
Currently, Playgroundz.net has built upon the live streaming experience by also bringing you The Playgroundz.net live radio broadcast, Independent only, streaming from our own servers. In addition, the website has a new look, and continues to expand its growing roster of musicians and fans.
